HCSO Detectives Search for Trailer Thief

On April 25, 2022 shortly after 3 p.m., in the 7300 block of Monterey Blvd. in Tampa, an unknown suspect utilized his red/maroon Dodge Durango to steal a homemade trailer. The vehicle had aftermarket stickers on the rear trunk door. The suspect vehicle and suspect were captured on surveillance video. The suspect is described as an older black male, 6', 275 lbs., wearing blue pants and a white t-shirt.

HCSO Detectives Work to ID Suspect Who Stole Gun in Burglary

STATUS: OPEN
On May 2, 2022 between 12am and 6am, unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's vehicle in the 8600 block of Key Biscayne Dr., and stole a black Taurus G3C firearm, Apple iPad Pro Gen 3 and bank cards. Later that day, a stolen card was used at the M&M Food & Meat store located at 5010 15th St. N. 
 
The suspects were captured on store surveillance video and are described as: B/M, dreadlock in pony tail, goatee, wearing a white shirt, black hooded jacket, black pants, socks and sandals; B/M, shoulder length braids, wearing brown jacket, black shirt, jeans and black sneakers and a W/M, short dark hair, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a logo on front/back, jeans and black sneakers. The suspects left the store in a unknown make/model, silver sedan.

TPD Detectives Ask for Tips from the Public to Quickly Solve Homicide of 14 Year Old

On May 6, 2022 at approx. 3:15 a.m., a young female was found deceased in the 100 block of W. Floribraska Ave., after reports of several gunshots were heard.  The victim has been identified as Nilexia B. Alexander, 14 yoa, who had been reported as a runaway from her home in Temple Terrace.  In the past, Nilexia was known to spend time in the Jackson Heights. She is 5'9", 180 lbs. and has a tattoo on her right inner forearm.

New Port Richey Detectives Ask for Help from the Public in 2015 Missing Person Case

On October 26, 2015 at 2 a.m., Brooklyn Peck, 12/5/1993, left her home on Hillside Dr. to meet someone at the Sunoco on US 19. Brooklyn never returned and was never heard from again. Her cell phone has not made any outgoing calls since 6:17 a.m. the same day. She had intended to return home for a court date she had on the 27th, as evidenced by the clothes she had laid out before she left. Brooklyn was reported missing by family on November 10, 2015. It is out of character for Brooklyn to not make contact with her family and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance are suspicious.
 
Brooklyn was known to visit the Leisure Ln. and Van Doren Ave. area. She is 4’11", 100-115 lbs., brown hair and hazel eyes. She has a large clock tattoo on her right chest, a large skull tattoo on her left chest and tattoos on both wrists and writing from shoulder to shoulder on the upper chest. There are tattoos on her left thigh and her ear. She had many piercings, including her septum and above her lip. Brooklyn is also missing the tip of her index finger on her left hand. Brooklyn was involved in sex work and drug misuse at the time of her disappearance.

Plant City Detectives Ask for Help from the Public in Shooting Investigation

On May 8, 2022, a black male, 21 yoa, was taken to the South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City. He had sustained a gunshot wound at an unknown location. A blue Nissan Frontier truck left after dropping off the victim at the emergency room. The victim is suffering with life-threatening injuries.

HCSO Work to ID Suspect Using Stolen Credit Card at Liquor Store

On April 15, 2022 at the Quick Mark at 10051 Sheldon Rd., an unknown suspect took a purse from a vehicle. The stolen credit cards were used at 3 separate locations shortly after. An unknown Hispanic male was captured on store surveillance video attempting to use the stolen cards at the Liquor Depot located at 6907 Armenia Av. N. The Hispanic male suspect is approx. 6', 175 lbs. and fled in a silver SUV.

HCSO Detectives Search for Suspect Who Smashed Window to Take $12,000 Rolex

STATUS: OPEN
On February 12, 2022 at 2:42 p.m., at the Walgreen's located at 8398 Sheldon Rd., an unknown white or Hispanic male smashed the driver's window of a 2018 Tesla. The suspect entered the vehicle headfirst through the broken window, reached to the passenger floorboard and took a Rolex watch. The Datejust Rolex is silver with a yellow wristband and valued at approx. $12,000. The suspect may have followed the victim from International Mall where the watch was purchased. The suspect was driving a black, older model Nissan Altima, with a Utah tag 6m3mk.

Plant City Detectives Ask the Public for Tips to Help Quickly Identify Suspects
April 22, 2022

During the evening hours of April 22, 2022, the occupants of an SUV were involved in three separate incidents where projectiles were shot from what detectives believe is an Airsoft Rifle. The shootings occurred in Plant City within 30 minutes of each other in the areas of:  South Collins Street, Grant Street and James L. Redman Parkway/South Maki Road. As a result of the shootings, several people sustained minor injuries.
 
The SUV was described as a white, older model, possibly Chevrolet Suburban, with a loud muffler/exhaust system and aftermarket tail lights.  Witnesses believe the vehicle was occupied with three subjects.

HCSO Detectives Work to ID Suspects Stealing at Target

On April 6, 2022 at 6:14 p.m., a black male and black female entered the Target located at 6295 Waters Ave W. and worked together to select numerous items to include: hoverboards, scooters and boxes of Legos. Both suspects left the store with the items valued at approx. $760 without making an effort to pay. The suspects fled in a silver Chevrolet Impala.
 
The black male is described as 18-22 yoa, 5'05", 200 lbs., last seen wearing a black/red hooded sweatshirt, gray shorts and red sandals. The black female is 35-45 yoa, 5'05", 175 lbs., black braided hair, wearing a black zip-up sweatshirt, gray sports bra, gray short leggings, black sandals, black face mask and carrying a black purse.

New Port Richey Detectives Ask for Tips to Help ID Armed Robbery Suspect
April 20, 2022

On April 19, 2022 at 5:40 a.m., an unknown male entered the Dunkin Donuts located at 5524 U.S. Highway 19 in New Port Richey. While inside, he displayed a handgun and demanded cash from an employee. The suspect is described as a light skinned white male, freckles on his face, approx. 5’06”- 5’10”, medium build and was last seen wearing a gray hoodie. After the robbery, the suspect fled the area on foot.
