TPD Detectives Work to Identify Suspects Involved in a Shooting at a Tampa Club

On February 2, 2019 at 2:59am, a verbal argument began inside the Medusa Lounge located at 7522 Armenia Avenue North in Tampa.  As the victims began to leave the club, two Hispanic subjects began to follow them.  The argument turned physical and a large brawl ensued.  One suspect retrieved a firearm from a vehicle then shot one of the victims in the chest causing non-life threatening injuries.  The second suspect, who was already armed, fired several shots into the crowd and air.  The suspects then fled in a small, light-colored 4-door vehicle.

HCSO Detectives Search for Suspects Breaking Into Cars

STATUS: OPEN
On January 17, 2019 at approximately 1:00 a.m., unknown suspects went to the Carriage Point Subdivision in a stolen Lexus and committed several vehicle burglaries.  Before leaving, the suspects stole a blue Volkswagen Jetta from the neighborhood.  At approximately 1:30 a.m., a deputy observed both vehicles traveling on Honeywell Road, however they fled at a high rate of speed.  Both vehicles were found abandoned shortly after.  Video surveillance shows one suspect being picked up at the Circle K by a dark colored 4-door sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Cruze.  The suspects are described as black males wearing dark clothing and a hoodie tied around their face.

Port Richey Detectives Ask for Information in Burglary at Dunkin Donuts
January 17, 2019

STATUS: OPEN
On September 8, 2018 at approximately 12:33 a.m., an unknown suspect entered the Dunkin Donuts located at 8419 US Highway 19 in Port Richey through the back door.  The suspect entered the office and took cash from the register drawers and safe.  The suspect placed the cash in a garbage bag then fled out the back door.  The suspect was captured on surveillance video and is described as being between 5'08" and 5'11" and was last seen wearing pink or red pants, a black or dark blue hooded sweatshirt, dark colored bandanna over their face, sunglasses, gloves and either trash bags or a booty over their shoes.

Pasco Detectives Work to Id Suspect Who Snatched Bracelet from Pawnbroker
January 17, 2019

STATUS: OPEN
On January 16, 2019 @ 12:16 p.m., an unknown male entered Golden Nugget located at 11217 US Highway 19 in Port Richey and requested to look at a bracelet.  When the pawnbroker retrieved the bracelet, the suspect snatched it from his hand, then fled the store without paying for the item.  The bracelet is described as being an 8" Cuban link, 14k yellow gold with a value of $6,450.  The suspect is described as a black male, dreadlocks and was last seen wearing a gray jacket with a Green Bay Packers logo on the left side, black sweatpants and black/white tennis shoes.  The suspect fled the store southbound on US Highway 19 from Sandra Drive in a Toyota Rav4, silver in color.

TPD Detectives Search for Ring Thief

On December 12, 2018 at 10:27 a.m., an unknown male entered the Kay Jewelers located at 271 West Shore Plaza, within the West Shore Mall and selected a wedding ring set.  After the employee handed the male the ring set to view, the suspect fled the store without paying for the item.  The ring set is valued at $9,899.  The suspect is described as a black male, shoulder length dreads and was last seen wearing a dark sweatshirt with a white logo, dark pants and white sneakers.

Plant City Detectives Work to Identify Suspect Who Took Sunglasses

On 1/7/19 at 11:30 a.m., an unknown white male entered the Eye Care Center of Plant City located at 407 North Plant Avenue and while the employees were busy with other customers, the male selected two pair of Ray Ban sunglasses and a pair of Costa Del Mar sunglasses.  The suspect placed the sunglasses in his pocket and left the store without paying for the items.

HCSO Detectives Search for Shooting Suspect

On November 21, 2018 at 9:00 p.m., as the victim exited a Hartline bus near Progress Boulevard and 83rd Street South, an unknown black male also got off the bus and followed the victim to the shopping plaza at the southwest corner of Progress Boulevard and 78th Street.  At some point, the suspect fired numerous shots toward the victim, who was able to run away unharmed.  The suspect is described as a black male, late teens to early 20's, 5'08"-6', last seen wearing dark clothing, dark shoes with white soles and a black/white checkered scarf.  The suspect was armed with a semi-automatic firearm.

On December 20, 2018 a white truck backed into the driveway of 1105 Johnson Street North, a female exited the passenger side, walked up to the front porch and took a package.  The truck is believed to be a Toyota Tundra, 2000's model.  The female was wearing a black jacket and blue hat.

Plant City Detectives Ask for Information from the Public to Help Identify Driver in Hit and Run Fatality

Update:  1/29/19 - detectives obtain arrest warrant for Doris Suleyma Rosales-Carbajal, 27, of Plant City.  The warrant is for Leaving the Scene of a Crash Without Rendering Aid Involving Death, Leaving the Scene of a Crash Without Rendering Aid Involving Serious Bodily Injury, Leaving the Scene Of a Crash Without Rendering Aid Involving Injury, No Valid Driver's License and Tampering With Evidence.
 
On December 2, 2018 at 10:55 p.m., the victim, Miquel Hernandez Jr., 21 yoa, and two friends were walking eastbound along MLK Boulevard in Plant City after leaving Fuego Bar & Grille.  The driver of a 2007 Cadillac Escalade ESV, pearl white metallic in color, struck the men.  The driver continued to travel eastbound on MLK Boulevard and failed to stop and render aid.  Hernandez died at the scene as a result of the injuries he sustained.  The other two men were transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  Detectives have recovered and impounded the Cadillac Escalade ESV used in the hit and run.  Information is requested regarding the person(s) responsible.
