On July 11, 2019, the victim went to the Bank of America located at 3439 Hillsborough Avenue W.The victim withdrew cash from the drive-thru teller, then placed the cash in the center console of his truck. The victim parked his truck in the bank parking lot and entered the bank.
While the victim was standing in line, a male suspect was observed walking from a silver van, entered the bank, and stood in line behind the victim. During this time, the driver of the silver van, parked next to the victim's truck, The unknown suspect(s) punched the driver's side door lock and removed the cash from the victim's truck. The suspect that was standing behind the victim, inside the bank, then leaves his place in line, exits the bank, and enters the silver van; fleeing the area.
The male suspect was captured on bank surveillance.

Tampa PD Request Help to Identify Graffiti Suspect

On September 28, 2019 at 4:09 am., an unknown male suspect spray painted graffiti on the Montessori Academy School fence located at 1901 Waters Avenue W. The school had cleaned the graffiti off of the fence twice and it was tagged again with the same graffiti markings on two different occasions. The graffiti tags have been showing up on other buisnesses between Waters Avenue W., Florida Avenue N., and Armenia Avenue N. The suspect has been tagging mostly of the weekends during the night time hours.

HCSO Detectives Ask for Help to Identify Bank Robbery Suspect

On October 16, 2019, at approximately 9:20 a.m., a black male suspect entered the Fifth Third Bank located at 1020 US Highway 41 in Ruskin. The suspect approached the teller counter and passed a note demanding money. The suspect implied that he had a gun. The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money in a black or dark blue sedan, possibly a Ford model vehicle.
The black male suspect is described as a 30-40 year old, 5' 10"- 6' 2"., 160-170 lbs. Last seen wearing a camouflage baseball hat and camouflage cargo shorts with a white V-neck t-shirt.
The suspect was captured on bank surveillance cameras.

TPD Detectives Work to Identify Suspects Shopping with Stolen Credit Cards

On September 27, unknown suspect(s) took a wallet and credit cards from an unlocked vehicle at an apartment complex on North Lois Avenue. Later that day, a couple showed up at the Target store on North Dale Mabry Highway and went shopping with the stolen credit cards.
Then on September 29th a credit card was taken from an unlocked vehicle at an apartment complex on West Spruce Street. Later that day that stolen credit card was used at a Walmart store on West Gandy Boulevard. The video shows the couple shopping at the Walmart making a purchase with the stolen card.

FHP Investigators Seek Information in Hit and Run Fatality

On June 29, 2019 at 12:19 p.m., an adult male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle traveling northbound on I75 near mile marker 238, north of the Hillsborough County rest area. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and continued to travel northbound on I75. The pedestrian, identified as James A. Robinson, 50 yoa, died as a result of the injuries he sustained. Investigators believe the suspect was driving a Volvo commercial vehicle.

HCSO Detectives Investigate Bank Robbery

On September 27, 2019 at approximately 9:16 a.m., an unknown male entered the Railroad & Industrial Federal Credit Union located at 1209 Kingsway Road in Brandon while wearing a mask. He jumped the teller counter, pointed a gun at the tellers and forced them to remove cash from the three drawers. The suspect then jumped back over the counter, exited the credit union, then fled the area on foot.
The suspect was not observed entering a vehicle. However, shortly after, a small blue vehicle (unknown make/model) was seen driving erratically southbound on Kingsway Road near Sadie Street, continuing to Highway 60. It is not known if this vehicle was involved, but is possible.
The suspect is described as a white male, athletic build, approximately 35-45 yoa, short gray hair with dark facial hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark blue pants with a white stripe down the legs, black sneakers with a white stripe and white soles, white gloves, dark sunglasses, a black face mask covering his mouth and a black baseball hat with a white brim and white logo on it (possibly a Florida Marlins logo).

Tampa PD Work to Identify Vending Machine Vandals

On 9/15/19, an unknown white female suspect opened a locked hallway door of the Quality Inn located at 2701 Fowler Avenue E. in Tampa, Fl., so that the white male suspect could gain entry into the building. The female suspect acted as a lookout, while the male suspect broke the locks on the vending machines to steal the money trays. The suspects were last seen driving a pewter colored SUV, possibly a GMC, Chevy, or Envoy type.
The suspects were captured on the hotel's surveillance video.

Tampa PD Urge South Tampa Residents to Take Steps to Protect Property

Tampa PD are investigating a series of residential burglaries, 23 since May, 2019.
The unknown suspects are taking high end jewelry. In September alone there have been seven burglaries believed to be related. The burglaries are occurring in the neighborhoods of Beach Park, Davis Islands, and Palma Ceia.
All have occurred on weekdays, during the times of day when residents are most likely to be away from home. Each burglary involved force entry and virtually all of them to the rear of the homes.
Detectives are urging South Tampa residents to take the following steps to protect their property and help catch the theives:
1) If you see something suspicious, report it to the police. If it is a car. get a detailed description and a tag number, if possible.
2) If you have a security camera, make sure it is in working order.
3) If possible, store your jewelry in a safe-deposit box or a safe that is not easily removed.

On September 20, 2019, at approximately 7:25 p.m., Two white males and a white female in a black Dodge pick-up truck, hitched a trailer used for a mobile business, to their truck and drove off with the trailer and the merchandise in the trailer, valued at $22,500.00.
The white male suspect driving the truck is described as 5'6, 180 lbs, short hair, and was last seen wearing a tan baseball cap, white t-shirt, and jeans.
The white male suspect sitting in the passenger side of the truck is described as 5'7, 200 lbs, short beard, last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black t-shirt, and black pants.
The white female has dark hair, worn in a ponytail, last seen wearing black tank top and black shorts with white trim.
The older model black Dodge truck has gray on the bottom, chrome step rails, after market chrime rims, and a bull dog sticker on the rear right side of the tailgate.
The suspects were captured on video surveillance.
