Plant City Detectives Work to Identify Robbery Suspect

STATUS: CLOSEDOn December 13, 2021 at approx. 11:10 a.m., a black male entered the Crickett Wireless located at 117 West Alexander Street in Plant City. Once inside, he approached an employee and demanded iPhones or he would spray her with ace. The employee refused and the suspect ran from the business to an unknown location. The male was described as a young black male, approx. 5'11", thin build and last seen wearing black pants, a gray/pink hoodie and a white mask.

Tampa PD Detectives Work to Identify Robbery Duo Who Attempted to Steal a Purse Using a Distraction Technique

STATUS: OPENOn December 9, 2021 at 7:52 p.m., two suspects followed the victim after she shopped at the Wholefoods located at 3740 Midtown Drive in Tampa. The male suspect attempted to distract the victim while the female suspect reached into the victim's purse while it was looped around her hand. She then took the wallet at which time the victim confronted the female suspect which led to a brief struggle. The victim was able to get her wallet back.
The suspects were described as having thick Spanish accents. The female is believed to be 22-20 yoa, 170 lbs., 5'6", medium build, long brown hair and last seen wearing a teal long sleeve shirt, jeans, black/white sneakers and a sparkle face mask. The male is believed to be 22-29 yoa, 160 lbs., 5'6", skinny build and last seen wearing a black hat, dark blue long sleeve shirt, black pants, black/white sneakers and a white face mask.

STATUS: OPENOn November 22, 2021 at 2:55 p.m., an unknown armed suspect broke into a residence in the 7400 block of Richland Street in Wesley Chapel. Once inside, the suspect injured a resident and fled with stolen property. The suspect is described as a black male, last seen wearing a dark colored hoodie and pants with a yellow or green backpack on. The suspect fled with 4 large white bags and left the area in a silver 4-door sedan, possibly a 2018 Hyundai Sonata.

HCSO Works to Identify Brandon Bank Robbery Suspect

STATUS: OPENOn November 8, 2021, just before 1 p.m., an unknown white male entered the Regions Bank located at 11314 Causeway Boulevard and passed a note to the teller, demanding money. The suspect was given cash and left the bank.
The suspect appears to look similar and is wearing the same clothes as a suspect from an attempted bank robbery that occurred Thursday, November 4, 2021, at The Bank of Tampa in Brandon.

STATUS: OPENOn November 3, 2021 at 7:50 a.m., 4 unknown males entered the Citgo station located at 4334 Gall Blvd. in Zephyrhills. Once inside, they grabbed the clerk by his arm and moved him around the store. The suspects took over $20,000 in cigarettes, cash from the register and a cell phone. They fled in a small 4-door Hyundai sedan, with the tag number beginning with "J" and ending with "00". The suspects were described as black males who wore clothing and accessories in a means to conceal their identity.

STATUS: OPENOn September 29, 2021 at 3:50 p.m., the victim, Michael Lee Roberts, was found deceased at his residence in the 8200 block of Franklin Rd. in Plant City. It was determined that Roberts died as a result of homicidal violence. Neighbors reported hearing gunshots coming from the residence between 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.

TPD Detectives Seek Tips to Help Solve Homicide of Victim Discovered in Abandoned Home

STATUS: OPENOn September 27, 2021, the victim, Linda Harris, was found deceased in an abandoned home in the 1800 block of E. Sligh Avenue, that had previously been set for demolition. While construction workers were conducting a walk-through of the residence, they discovered her. Harris suffered from upper body trauma and her death was determined to be a homicide. Detectives are seeking any information about Linda's activities in the days leading up to her being found and any information that could lead to the identity of the person(s) responsible.
