Reward Increased to up to $15,000 for Information Leading to Suspect(s) who Shot Six People

Shortly before 1:00am on September 11, 2025, Tampa Police Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 6000 block of Woodville Street in Tampa. When officers arrived, they found three people who had been shot. A 21-year-old male and a 19-year-old male who were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Tragically, the incident resulted in the death of 17-year-old, Tariq De’Shawn Marshall.
About 30 minutes later, officers were dispatched nearby to West Platt and South Willow Avenue where two additional people reported they had also been shot at the apartment complex on Woodville Street and were on their way to a local hospital. They were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A sixth victim later arrived at a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The preliminary investigation found that all six victims were outside the apartment complex when they were shot. Detectives believe this incident stemmed from a prior dispute and was not a random act.

In addition to the reward offered by Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay, increased reward monies of up to $4,500 are available through the Florida Association of Crime Stoppers, in partnership with the Florida Office of Attorney General. The enhanced reward monies are available through June 30, 2026. The tip must come through the Crime Stoppers program and lead to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspect(s) in order to be eligible for the enhanced reward.
Additionally, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement is contributing up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible in this case.
Pasco SO Detectives Continue Search for Missing Person

Pasco Sheriff’s detectives continue to search for Shyna Gariti, a missing 43-year-old. Gariti is 4’11”, around 100 lbs., with auburn, red or blonde hair, green eyes and star tattoos on her left wrist. Gariti was last seen in June 2023 in the Hudson area.

Tampa PD Detectives Ask for Tips to Help Identify Suspect Who Attacked Elderly Couple

On May 9, 2025, at approximately 5:00 p.m., an elderly couple was at 601 S. Harbour Island Boulevard in Tampa when an unknown white male attempted to snatch the elderly female's phone because he was not happy with the fact that she was complaining about how loud he was being. Her 79 year-old husband attempted to intervene to stop the suspect from snatching the phone, at which time, the suspect threw him to the ground and punched him. The suspect then grabbed the female victim and threw her to the ground. The male victim suffered serious injuries as a result of the incident.
Detectives have obtained surveillance video of the suspect and an unknown female who was with him.

HCSO Detectives Seek Tips to Help Identify Robbery Suspects

On April 15, 2025, at approx. 10:13p.m., two (2) unknown black male suspects entered the King Smoke & Vape at 11200 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., #103 in Seffner. As one suspect hopped over the counter where the products were located, the other suspect observed the store clerk and pointed a black, unknown make/model firearm at him, giving orders to stay back. The suspect who pointed the firearm at the clerk directed the other suspect to grab certain items from the shelves before they both exited the business. The suspects fled and were observed running eastbound to an unknown location.

Pasco Detectives Work to Apprehend Homicide Suspect and Identify if Other Possible Suspect(s) are Involved

On March 14, 2025 a homicide occurred in the Holiday Lake Estates area of Holiday. As a result, the victim, Miguel Angel Santiago, was pronounced deceased. During the course of the investigation, one suspect has been identified as Adrian Golden-Rodriguez, DOB 11/02/2006. An arrest warrant for Homicide has been obtained. Adrian's whereabouts are unknown at this time. Detectives are seeking the publics assistance in locating Adrian Golden-Rodriguez and any information about the case in regards to other possible suspect(s). Tips Sought to Help Solve Plant City Homicide

On February 16, 2025 at approx. 9:30 p.m., the victim, who was identified as Johnnie James III, was shot near 1807 E. Warren Street in Plant City. James was sitting inside his vehicle, which was parked in front of his father's residence, when an unknown suspect(s) in a black sedan, possibly a Dodge Charger, approached the vehicle from behind. As the suspect(s) approached James' driver's door, multiple shots were fired into the vehicle. Johnnie James III died as a result of the injuries sustained from the gunfire. A passenger inside James' vehicle was struck by incoming gunfire and sustained minor injuries.

TPD Detectives Work to Identify Fraud Suspect

Tampa Police Department detectives are asking for tips from the community to help solve a series of credit card fraud incidents that began in November 2024. The suspect has used stolen credit cards to make unauthorized purchases at various locations throughout the city. Detectives have gathered video and photo evidence of the suspect.
The black male suspect appears to be in his early 20s, approx. 6 feet tall, 235 pounds, with a stocky build. He has been captured on surveillance footage making fraudulent purchases at International Mall, and from businesses in the Tampa Palms area, including Publix, Walmart, and 7-Eleven, where gift cards were purchased.

Tampa PD Investigates New Year's Eve Shooting

On New Year's Eve, an adult male security guard was shot in the 600 block of N. Ashley Street in Tampa during an attempt to disperse a large group of individuals riding electric dirt bike-style bicycles who were causing disturbances. The security guard was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Detectives have obtained surveillance footage capturing several individuals riding similar style electric bikes around Gasparilla Plaza shortly before the shooting. It is believed there may be a connection between the suspect and members of the group seen in the video. The footage is being shared with the public in hopes of identifying additional witnesses and gathering further information that may aid in this ongoing investigation.
