Crime Stoppers programs assist law enforcement agencies with identifying unknown suspects involved in a variety of criminal acts. 

 

Over the last couple months there has been protesting throughout the county where looting at several businesses occurred.  As law enforcement worked diligently to solve the cases, Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay advertised them to the public.  As a result, over 160 tips were received.  Citizens provided vital information that assisted detectives, which ultimately lead to numerous arrests.

 

This is a reminder that Crime Stoppers programs are effective.  By offering members of the community an avenue to volunteer vital information anonymously, citizens are eligible for a cash reward.
