On July 1, 2017 between 3:03 am and 4:23 am, an unknown suspect struck a pedestrian as he was crossing 2nd Avenue at 25th Street in Tampa. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown make vehicle. The victim was identified as Charles Edward Slater, 46 yoa. Slater died as a result of the injuries he sustained.

On June 16, 2017 at 7:20 pm, officers responded to a call regarding shots being fired in the area of North 36th Street and East Shadowlawn Avenue in Tampa. Officers discovered one person had sustained a gun shot wound and he was transported to a local hospital. The victim who was identified as Antwan Tremaine Jenrette Jr., 12/08/1998, died as a result of the injuries he sustained.

On March 11, 2017 at approximately 1:20 p.m., the victim, Thomas Edward Walker III, 38yoa, was sitting at the corner of Deerfield Drive and Libby Lane in Clairmel playing chess with another individual. As Walker walked away from the game, a dark colored 4-door vehicle, possibly a Buick, was seen pulling up to the intersection. An unknown black male exited the vehicle and fired multiple shots. The suspect re-entered the vehicle where it was seen fleeing the area northbound on Darlington Drive. Walker was struck and died as a result of the injuries he sustained.

During the early morning hours of March 6, 2017 a traffic crash occurred near Waters Avenue West and North Boulevard in Tampa. The involved motorcyclist died as a result of the injuries he sustained in the crash. The unknown driver of a red pick up truck fled the scene on foot after the crash.

On January 26, 2017 at approximately 12:40 p.m., the body of Dontae Lampkins, 25 yoa, was found in an alley between Comanche Avenue East and Mohawk Avenue East in Seminole Heights as he sustained upper body trauma. Lampkins was believed to have been murdered after he was robbed. Investigators believe that Lampkins may have come in contact with the suspect using a social media dating app. A video has been obtained that shows Lampkins boarding and exiting a HART bus on January 24, 2017.

During the early morning hours of February 26, 2017, a pedestrian was struck and killed in Ybor City at 15th Avenue East and 15th Street North in Tampa. The victim was identified as Jatha Royal, 36 yoa. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a late 90`s to early 2000 Ford pickup that was being driven by a white or Hispanic male with dark hair.

On January 14, 2017 at approximately 10:20 p.m., witnesses saw two white or Hispanic males and one white or Hispanic female punching the victim while in the middle of North 15th Street at Elm Street East in Tampa. The suspects walked south on North 15th Street toward Sligh Avenue East leaving the victim unconscious on the east side of the road. The victim, William "Bill" Denham, 53 yoa, died as a result of the injuries he sustained.
Suspect #1 was described as a white or Hispanic male, in his 20`s, 5`08"-5`09", stocky/heavy build, brown hair, scruffy facial hair and wearing a black short sleeve shirt. Suspect #2 was described as a white or Hispanic male. Suspect #3 was described as a white or Hispanic female, long black hair and wearing a black shirt.

During the evening hours of December 12, 2016, TPD officers discovered the victim, William L. McGoff, 53 yoa, dead in his home at 4928 Chariton Avenue in Tampa. At this time, investigators believe that McGoff was murdered by unknown suspect(s). McGoff`s 2013 Hyundai, black in color, bearing FL tag 113VFT, is now missing.

On December 7, 2016 at approximately 4:00 am, deputies were notified via Shot Spotter Activation that shots were heard in the area of 15th Street and Gragston Circle in Tampa. Deputies discovered a male victim laying in the parking lot of the Revere Landings Apartment complex located at 1802 French Creek Drive. The victim had sustained more than one gun shot wound and died at the hospital as a result of his injuries. The victim was identified as Antonio Lamar Bradshaw, 9/13/1982.

On September 27, 2016 at 7:47 p.m., an unknown vehicle was traveling northbound on Highway 41 in the outside lane South of Beach Avenue in Gibsonton. A pedestrian was walking northbound across Beach Avenue when the suspect vehicle turned left onto Beach Avenue. The suspect vehicle struck the victim then fled the scene. The victim, who was identified as Allen Ray Swyear, 60 yoa, was transported to the hospital but died a week later from the injuries sustained in the crash. Investigators believe that the suspect vehicle could possibly be a dark colored Nissan Xterra.

The apartment complex where the homicide occurred was formally known as University Oakwoods Apartments and is now known as Tzadik Oaks.

On September 5, 2016 at approximately 8:50 p.m. an unknown black male engaged in an argument with the victims while they were sitting in a vehicle at 13601 21st Street North in Tampa. The argument escalated to the suspect shooting both victims. Matthew Wissmann, 31 yoa, died at the scene after sustaining at least one gun shot wound to his upper body. The second victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect was described as a black male, 6`02", 160-170 lbs., short beard, wearing a red/black baseball cap, red tank top or jersey type shirt and blue or black shorts. The suspect fled the scene on a bicycle.
